Linking is telling the system that this MetaTrader is yours. It is done once per terminal.
When you load the program onto a chart, something like this appears in the corner. The program writes this message in Spanish, whatever language you use:
Este terminal no está vinculado. Escribe en el bot: /copier vincular 408 921
Those six digits are your code, and vincular is the word the bot expects. It expires after a few minutes: if you miss it, remove and re-add the program to the chart and another one appears.
In the bot's chat, type the command exactly as it appears on your screen. Within two or three seconds the chart changes and the terminal shows up in the app with its broker, its server, its currency and its balance.
Because it is how you prove that you have that MetaTrader in front of you without giving us any credential. Only somebody looking at that screen can see the code.
The broker, the server, the account number, the balance and the symbol specifications. Not the account password, because it is not asked for and not needed: the program is already inside an authenticated terminal.
Load the program there and link again. Each installation is a separate terminal and counts towards your plan's limit.
Write to us in the bot and a person reads it. Tell us what you expected and what happened.
