Per-channel statistics

Every channel has its panel. Here is what each number says.

At the top

  • Settled: how many signals are already known to have ended. This is the sample: under twenty, read everything else with caution.
  • Open: signals that have not finished. They do not count towards the result.
  • Total R: the sum of all outcomes in multiples of risk. See What R means.
  • R per signal: the total divided by the settled ones. It is what you can expect, on average, from the next one.

The breakdown

How many reached the target, how many the stop, how many came out flat and how many were mixed. A channel with many mixed outcomes is one that reaches its early targets but not its late ones: you may be better off opening a single order at the first target.

The timeline

When shadow started, how many days it has been running, and whether at some point it started copying for real and when. It stops you confusing what it did in shadow with what it did in your account.

The last fourteen days

How many messages arrived, how many were signals and how many were discarded. A channel that sends forty messages a day and two signals is a noisy channel: not a bad one, but worth knowing.

What you will not see

Data from other users or from channels you do not follow. Each customer sees only their own.

One caution

Shadow statistics are a simulation. The real one will have slippage and spread, and will come out somewhat worse. Treat them as the ceiling, not the forecast.
