Why we never ask for your MetaTrader password

Because we do not need it, and because asking for it would be the biggest risk we could put on you.

How it works instead

The program that executes the orders loads inside your own MetaTrader, which is already authenticated with your broker. We talk to that program; never to your broker.

In other words: you already did the authentication, on your machine, and it never leaves it.

Why others do ask

A copier that lives in the cloud has to get into your account from outside, and in MetaTrader the only way into an account is with its password. Hence account, password and server.

We solved the problem from the other end. The honest trade-off is that your terminal has to be switched on, and we leave that written in the comparison on the site, not hidden.

Every order is signed

On top of that, every order that travels to your terminal carries a cryptographic signature with a key known only to your terminal and our server. If somebody sat in the middle of the connection, they could not invent an order: they would not know how to sign it.

If somebody asks you for it

It is not us. Not on Telegram, not by email, not by phone, not even using our name, our logo or a similar-looking link. There is no situation in which Norte Copier support needs your trading account password.

If it happens, do not give it, and write to us through the bot.
